Peer pressure is the reason a lot of people are in jail. Peer pressure is the reason a lot of people commit suicide. Peer pressure is the reason that people don't do the things that they want to do. Peer pressure isn't always people forcing you to do things, it can also be forcing yourself to do things you don't want to do just to have friends. A couple months back, I was smoking weed everyday because I just wanted to be around people to have friends. I would miss out on the gym just to hang out with people who didn't want to work out at all. I was hanging around people that tolerated me just so I could have friends. Developing social skills is very imperative when it comes to overcoming the shackles of everyday peer pressure. This will help you make friends doing things you love to do so it won't feel like you're forcing people to adopt your way of thinking. When you're comfortable enough to do your own thing, strangers and/or other people that know you will want to learn from you. Stop being afraid to do your own thing. You have to accept that nobody cares about you because we all have things in our lives that we have to deal with. Living a social life doing things you actually enjoy doing will have you in a healthier state of mind. Be leaders men. Followers are never happy.
